Golden Raisin Buns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. water
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
4 eggs
1/2 c. golden raisins, plumped
Lemon Frosting (see below)
Preparation

Combine water, butter, sugar and salt in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
Add flour all at once, then over low heat, beat with a wooden spoon about 1 minute or until mixture leaves sides of pan and forms a smooth, thick dough.
(Yes, this uses only 1 teaspoon of sugar!)
Remove from heat.
Continue beating about 2 minutes to cool slightly.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each until mixture has a satiny sheen.
Stir in raisins.
Drop heaping measuring tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden, firm and doubled, at 375\u00b0.
Remove to wire rack to cool slightly.
While still warm, gently spread frosting over tops and sides.
Makes 20.
(Do not overbake!)
