Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large Vidalia onions
    1/3 c. oil
    salt and pepper
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. chicken broth or 1 pack Weight Watchers dry
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    3/4 c. dry cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Slice onions into rings; saute in oil.
    Add salt, pepper and sugar.
    Add chicken broth. Simmer 3 minutes.
    Place in casserole dish and sprinkle with cheese and cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    This dish is good served with pinto beans and beef patties and hush puppies.
