Deviled Ham Puff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (4 1/2 oz.) cans deviled ham
    2 drops Tabasco
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    8 slices white bread
    1/2 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. chopped pimento or 1 Tbsp. green pepper
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Grease a shallow baking dish or 2-quart casserole well.
    Blend the Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce with the deviled ham and spread evenly on each slice of bread.
    Cut the bread into 1-inch squares.
    Place one layer on bottom of baking dish and sprinkle with 1/2 the cheese.
    Place remaining bread squares on top of cheese and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Blend eggs, milk, pimento, salt and pepper.
    Pour over layers of bread and cheese. Let stand for about 15 minutes.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until puffed and brown (about 30 minutes).
    Serve at once.
