Skillet Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    2 stalks celery
    1 large onion
    1 tsp. bacon drippings or margarine
    Cheddar cheese, shredded
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 green pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Cut cabbage up fine; cut up celery, onion and green pepper. Put drippings in heavy skillet.
    Then add all ingredients, except cheese.
    Cook over slow heat until tender.
    Then add shredded cheese; slide out onto a flat bowl and serve.
