Date Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. butter
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. dates, cut up
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream the sugar and butter.
    Sift the flour, cinnamon and baking powder.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
    Add nuts, dates and vanilla.
    Drop dough into hot sauce in baking pan, spooning tablespoon at a time and bake 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
