Scalloped Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can cream-style corn
    1/2 c. light cream or whole milk
    2 stalks or 1/2 c. celery, diced
    1 small green pepper, diced
    1/4 c. cheese, diced
    1 egg
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 small onion, diced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    14 to 16 soda crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Mix corn, egg, cream, salt and pepper in mixing bowl.
    Add celery, onion and green pepper.
    Pour into greased baking dish in layers with cheese, butter and cracker crumbs, ending with layer of corn mixture.
    Top with 1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs, if desired. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
