Hot Beef-Mushroom Appetizer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, chopped
    1 pkg. (4 1/2 oz.) dried beef, chopped
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    Crackers or party rye bread
Preparation
    In a skillet, saute onions in butter until tender. Stir in cream cheese until smooth. Add mushrooms, beef, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder; mix well. Spoon into an ungreased 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm with crackers or rye bread.
