Beef Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 lb.) roast
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 large onion
    2 cloves garlic or 1 tsp. garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat roasting pan; put oil in and brown roast on all sides. Cut onion in slices and put on top of roast.
    Put enough water to make gravy.
    Take 2 tablespoons flour and dissolve in warm water and put in roaster to thicken gravy.
    Cook until tender as you want it.
