Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rolled oats
    1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
    4 c. apples (tart)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place rolled oats, flour, sugar, salt and cinnamon in a bowl and mix well with pastry blender or fork. Arrange peeled sliced apples in a buttered 2-quart baking dish. Spread oatmeal mixture on top and press down lightly.
    Bake about 30 minutes or until topping is brown and apples are tender when tested with a fork.
