Glorified Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3 oz package lemon jello
1 cup boiling water
1 cup crushed pineapple, undrained
2 cups cooked rice
1 pint whipping cream
4 tablespoons sugar
pinch of salt (optional)
Preparation

Dissolve jello in boiling water.
Add crushed pineapple. Cool.
When this mixture is partially set, whip until creamy.
Add cooked rice then fold in whipped cream.
Chill until firm.
Top with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry if desired.
Serves 6-8.
