Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. New York sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 sticks butter, softened
    3 c. white all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of red pepper
Preparation
    Mix grated cheese and butter with your hands until smooth.
    Add flour gradually.
    Test one to be sure they have enough flour. Chill if too soft.
    Roll dough out to 1/4-inch thick and cut into small biscuits.
    Put on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Top each biscuit with a pecan half or piece.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 12 minutes or until done.
    Do not brown.
    Makes 2 dozen.
