Gramma'S Salamagundi Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. water
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 lb. ground beef (uncooked)
    1 (12 oz.) can corn, drained
    bacon
Preparation
    Combine
    1
    can tomato sauce, rice, water, onion, green pepper,
    salt
    and\tpepper.
    Turn into 2-quart casserole (buttered).
    Layer\tground\tbeef
    on
    top
    and sprinkle with salt. Spread corn
    over
    beef.
    Pour second can of tomato sauce over corn.
    Add a few slices of bacon on top.
