Snowballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, separated
    1 c. crushed pineapple, well drained
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 box vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add beaten egg yolks, pineapple and nuts.
    Fold in beaten egg whites.
    Spread mixture on cookies and stack 3 high.
    Put in refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
    Cover with whipped cream, seasoned with sugar and vanilla.
    Sprinkle with coconut.
    Can be done 4 to 5 hours before serving.
    Looks pretty served on paper doilies.
    Makes a festive Christmas dessert with a candle.
