Italian Meatball Sandwich - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1 can golden mushroom soup
1/4 c. water
1/4 tsp. oregano
shredded cheese (optional)
6 long hard rolls, toasted
Preparation

Mix thoroughly beef, crumbs, egg, onion and salt.
Shape into 24 meatballs.
Brown meatballs in skillet.
Pour off fat.
Add soup, water and oregano.
Cover.
Cook on low for 20 minutes or until done.
Serve in rolls.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese, if desired.
