Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, broken into bite size pieces
    1 (16 oz.) can LeSueur green peas, drained
    2 onions, thinly sliced
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Layer lettuce, green peas and onion slices into glass salad bowl.
    Spread mayonnaise over top, sealing to edge; sprinkle with sugar.
    Top with cheese.
    Chill, covered with plastic wrap, overnight.
    Yield:
    12 servings.
