Raisin Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. sugar (may use 1/2 c. brown sugar)
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder, salt and 2/3 cup sugar.
    Add raisins and milk.
    Spread batter in buttered baking dish.
    Heat together water, butter and 1 cup brown sugar.
    Pour the syrup over the batter.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
