Scalloped Potatoes And Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    6 medium potatoes, sliced thin
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    salt
    pepper
    ham, sliced 1/4-inch thick (enough for family)
    1 c. grated cheese (optional)
    1 medium onion, diced (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Butter sides of a 10 x 10-inch or 2-quart casserole.
    Arrange potatoes in 2 layers, topping with dabs of butter, salt and pepper, mushroom soup and milk mixture (1/2). Cheese and onions may be added to soup mixture (optional).
    Top with sliced ham.
    Bake 1 1/4 hours.
