Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage
    1 bell pepper
    4 medium onions
    1 small jar pimentos
    1 pt. vinegar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 Tbsp. salt
    3 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, pepper, onions and pimentos.
    Heat vinegar, sugar, salt, turmeric and mustard seed in a pan.
    Bring to a boil for 6 minutes.
    Let cool, pour over cabbage, pepper, onions and pimentos.
    Put in refrigerator. Slaw will keep 6 weeks.
