Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 hen or large fryer
    1 can mixed vegetables, drained
    1 small can English peas, drained
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can chicken broth
    1 c. milk
    1 stick oleo
    3 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 pastry shell
Preparation
    Cook chicken.
    Remove from bones; dice when cool.
    Melt butter in pan; stir in flour, soup, broth and milk.
    Cook over low heat. Stir until mixture thickens.
    Place chicken, mixed vegetables and peas in large, deep casserole dish.
    Add sauce, black pepper and salt.
    Mix well.
    Cover with pastry.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until crust is golden brown.
