Beef Brisket - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 lb. boneless brisket of beef
1/2 to 1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 Tbsp. instant coffee
1 carrot, shredded
1 large onion, sliced
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 c. V-8 juice
Preparation

Place brisket, fat side up, in roasting pan.
Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 450\u00b0.
Remove from oven.
Cover generously, in this order, with garlic powder, pepper, paprika, instant coffee, carrot, onion, parsley and bouillon cubes (dissolved in juice). Cover pan.
Return to oven; bake at 250\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours, or until tender, basting occasionally.
Remove from oven; refrigerate overnight.
Slice meat across the grain.
Return to pan with juices.
