Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. hot water
    1 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    2 Tbsp. warm water
    1 egg, well beaten
    3 1/2 to 4 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Combine sugar, salt, shortening and hot water in a large bowl. Cool to lukewarm. Soften the yeast in warm water.
    Add yeast, beaten egg and half the flour. Beat well. Stir in rest of flour and mix thoroughly.
    Place in a greased bowl. Grease top. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight or until ready to use.
    Punch down. Cut off dough and shape into rolls.
    Let rise until double in size. Bake in greased pan at 425\u00b0 for
    20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
