Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. granulated sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour
salt
currant jelly
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add yolks and beat thoroughly.
Add flour and vanilla.
Roll in small balls.
Press a depression into top center of cookie with a wooden clothespin or thumb.
Fill depression with currant jelly or 1/2 pecan.
Bake until lightly browned at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
