Peppermint Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
    1 tbsp peppermint extract
    6 cups confectioners sugar
    1 1/2 lb chocolate-flavored candy coating (almond bark)
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine sweetened condensed mild and extract. Add 6 cups sugar: beat on low speed until smooth and well blended. Turn mixture onto surface sprinkled with confectioners sugar. Knead lightly to form smooth ball. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on wax paper-lined baking sheet. Flatten each ball in 1 1/2 inch patty. Chill for 2 hours. With fork, dip each patty into warm candy coating. Place on wax paper until firm.
