Hearty Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. salad oil
1 medium onion, sliced thin
2 celery stalks, cut in 1/4-inch diagonal
1 clove garlic, minced
4 chicken bouillon cubes
8 c. water
1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained)
4 carrots, cut in 1/4-inch diagonal
2 c. cauliflower
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen lima beans
1/2 tsp. dried marjoram, crushed
1/2 tsp. thyme leaves, crushed
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 box ziti
Preparation

In a 5-quart pot over medium heat, combine oil, onion, celery and garlic.
Saute until tender or onion is limp.
Stir in bouillon cubes, water and tomatoes with liquid.
Add carrots, cauliflower, lima beans, marjoram, thyme and pepper.
Cook 15 minutes, uncovered, then add ziti and cook another 15 minutes.
