Company Corn Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked rice
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped or chilies
    1/2 stick oleo
    1 egg, beaten
    1 small jar pimentos, chopped
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (15 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1 (15 oz.) can whole kernel corn
    grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. chopped ham (optional)
Preparation
    Saute onion and green pepper in oleo until wilted.
    Add the cooked rice.
    Add beaten egg, pimento, sugar and both cans of corn. Mix well.
    Add ham, if desired, and mix well.
    Bake 20 to 30 minutes in a 2-quart dish (12 x 8 x 2-inch) at 350\u00b0 until hot and bubbly.
    Sprinkle cheese on top.
