Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. finely chopped onion
    5 c. chicken broth
    8 oz. very thin spaghetti (capellini), broken into small pieces
    3 c. milk
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli, thawed and cooked according to pkg. directions and drained
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
Preparation
    In large, 6-quart soup pot, saute onion in butter until transparent.
    Add chicken broth and spaghetti.
    Heat for 5 minutes on medium. Add milk, broccoli and garlic.
    Cook 5 more minutes. Add cheese.
    Serve when cheese is melted and spaghetti noodles are tender.
    Add extra broth or milk if soup is too thick.
