Turkey-Noodle Poppy Seed Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium size egg noodles, uncooked
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    3 c. milk
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 Tbsp. poppy seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. red pepper
    3 c. diced cooked turkey
    1 (4 oz.) jar diced pimiento, drained
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package directions.
    Drain well and set aside.
    Saute onion and green pepper in butter in a Dutch oven until tender; add flour, stirring until smooth.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
    Stir in noodles, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and next 4 ingredients; add pimiento and stir gently.
