Seven Layer Casserole(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Minute rice
    1 (8 oz.) can drained whole kernel corn
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. chopped pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3/4 lb. ground beef (crumb, don't pack down)
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    strips of bacon, if desired
Preparation
    Place ingredients in casserole in order listed.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Uncover and bake for 30 more minutes to brown bacon.
    If bacon is not used, bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
