Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    1/4 c. hot water
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and spices.
    Add sugar.
    Stir in molasses and water.
    Add flour, soda and salt to molasses mix.
    Chill for several hours.
    Roll to 1/8-inch diameter on greased sheet and bake 6 to 8 minutes at 350\u00b0.
