Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 unbeaten egg
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. chocolate kisses
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream Crisco and peanut butter.
Gradually add sugar, creaming well.
Add unbeaten egg and vanilla.
Beat well.
Blend dry ingredients and add to mixture.
Mix thoroughly.
Shape dough into balls, using a rounded teaspoon for each.
Roll balls in sugar and place on greased baking sheet.
