Grandma'S Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

5 to 7 c. tart apples, sliced
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 large egg
1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation

Put apples in ungreased pan (9-inch).
Sprinkle with lemon juice.
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, lemon peel and nutmeg; mix well.
Add egg; stir until moistened. Spoon evenly over apples.
Drizzle butter over top.
Bake 45 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven until bubbly.
