Tuna-Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. (12 oz.) medium noodles
    3 (6 1/2 to 7 oz.) cans tuna, drained
    1 c. light mayonnaise
    2 c. sliced celery
    2/3 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. chopped red pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup (can use fat-free)
    1 c. milk (can use nonfat)
    8 oz. sharp process American cheese (can use fat-free), shredded or cubed
Preparation
    Cook noodles, using package directions; drain.
    Combine noodles, tuna, mayonnaise, celery, onion, red and green peppers and salt in large mixing bowl.
    Blend cream of mushroom soup and milk; heat through.
    Add cheese; heat and stir until cheese melts. Add to noodle mixture carefully.
    Mix and then put in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    If desired, sprinkle with bread crumbs or slivered almonds.
    Bake, uncovered, at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
