Spicy Bean And Beef Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
2 to 3 cloves garlic
1 can condensed bean with bacon soup
1 jar thick picante, divided
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
3/4 c. sliced onions
pastry double crust
1 c. sour cream
1 can olives, sliced
Preparation

Put bottom crust in pie tin.
Cook beef and garlic.
Combine soup, 1 cup picante, cornstarch, parsley, paprika, salt and pepper; mix well.
Fold in beans, 1 1/4 cups cheese, 1/2 cup onions and beef mixture.
Top with remaining pastry.
Cut slits in top. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Garnish with sour cream, olives, picante, cheese and onions.
Makes 8 servings.
