St Louis Gooey Butter Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup butter, melted
3 eggs
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 (16 oz) box powdered sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine cake mix, 1/2 cup butter and 1 egg.
Beat well.
Press into 9 x 13 inch pan.
Combine cream cheese, remaining 2 eggs, remaining 1/2 cup butter and box of powdered sugar.
Blend until smooth.
Spread cream cheese mixture over cake.
Sprinkle with pecans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.
Cool.
Cut into squares.
