Crunchy Fudge Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    45 large marshmallows
    1 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    4 c. oven toasted rice cereal
Preparation
    In a large saucepan over low heat, melt butter and marshmallows.
    Remove from heat; add chips and vanilla, stirring until melted.
    Stir in cereal.
    Turn into lightly buttered 8 inch pan.
    Chill.
    Cut into bars.
    Store covered at room temperature.
