Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 1/2 to 2 cans milk
    5 to 7 medium potatoes
    12 oz. Velveeta cheese
    garlic, salt and pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter (use a large pan).
    Mince potatoes in small cubes and add to the onion and barely cover with water.
    Cook until mushy.
    Add soup to cooked potatoes; add cubed cheese.
    When cheese melts, add milk and turn to simmer.
