Pear Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box lemon jello
    1 large can pear halves
    1 small box Cool Whip
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Drain pears and arrange in dish.
    Heat pear juice to boiling; add jello and stir until dissolved.
    Pour mixture over Philadelphia cream cheese in large mixing bowl and whip until smooth with electric mixer.
    Add Cool Whip and mix until blended. Pour over pears and refrigerate for 2 hours.
    Cut into squares and top each square with a cherry.
    Will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks.
