Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c. unbroken pecan halves
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup, salt and milk in saucepan.
    Bring to boil and cook, without stirring until 236\u00b0 on candy thermometer or is a soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat and let stand until lukewarm (110\u00b0).
    Add vanilla and pecans and beat with spoon until mixture begins to thicken and loses its gloss.
    Drop from tablespoon onto wax paper.
    Let stand until firm.
    Store in airtight container.
