Yulekaje - Christmas Fruit Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. scalded milk
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 to 3 tsp. ground cardamon
    2 beaten eggs
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    6 to 8 c. flour
    2 c. raisins
    1 c. mixed fruit
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Pour scalded milk over sugar, salt and oleo. Cool until lukewarm. Add the well beaten eggs, then add ground cardamon. Sprinkle the yeast over the warm water and sugar. Allow yeast to dissolve for 5 minutes in warm water and sugar. Add yeast to cool milk mixture. Sift flour, 2 cups at a time, and add to yeast/milk mixture.
    Knead dough on floured board until dough forms a ball. Cut 3 loaves and press into 3 bread pans or 3 pie pans.
    Let dough rise again until double (1 to 2 hours). Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes on center rack of oven.
    Brush melted butter on top of bread and sprinkle top with sugar.
