Cracklin' Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening, melted
    2 c. cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. cracklings
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Combine eggs and milk with dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Add cracklings.
    Put shortening in skillet and get it hot.
    Pour in batter.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 450\u00b0 or until brown.
