Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. rolled oats
    7 Tbsp. butter, softened at room temperature (do not soften in microwave)
    5 c. sliced tart Granny Smith apples
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon and salt.
    Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
    Spread apples over bottom of buttered 8 or 9-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle crumbly mixture over apples. Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
