Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
4 Tbsp. molasses
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Mix well, roll in balls.
Dip in sugar and flatten with fork. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
