Dry Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. peaches, peelings on and sliced thin
    6 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Pour sugar over peaches.
    Let set 3 hours or overnight.
    Pour vinegar over them. Cook very slowly until they are dry. Stir constantly.
    Pack in hot jars and seal.
