Mock Oyster Rockerfeller - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    1 medium onion, grated
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 small can chopped mushrooms, drained
    1 roll garlic cheese
    sliced almonds (optional)
Preparation
    Boil chopped broccoli and drain.
    Saute onion in butter until soft.
    Combine soup, onion and mushrooms and mix with broccoli and crumbled cheese in pan.
    Heat on low until cheese melts.
    Add almonds and stir well.
    Serve hot in chafing dish as a cocktail dip with Melba toast or your favorite cracker.
    Serves 25.
    As a vegetable casserole, bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes until hot and bubbling.
    Serves 8.
