Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. warm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in water.
Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and stir; set aside.
Mix dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Stir in buttermilk and yeast water.
(Batter is very moist.)
It is ready to store in refrigerator until needed or make into biscuits.
