Heavenly Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 c. carrots
    1 bell pepper, sliced
    1 onion, sliced
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 c. sugar (1/2 white, 1/2 brown)
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. dill or fennel
Preparation
    Slice and cook carrots until tender-crisp.
    Place cooked carrots, pepper slices and onion slices in bowl.
    Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan and heat, stirring until well blended.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Marinate overnight.
    Keeps well. Serves 16.
