Almond Roca - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (4 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
    1 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 large milk chocolate bars
Preparation
    Melt butter in iron skillet.
    Add sugar, stirring constantly, until dissolved.
    Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add 2 1/2 packages of almonds.
    Cool at least 7 minutes or longer, until mixture turns deep amber brown.
    The almonds have to pop and the oil works in.
    Pour onto cookie sheet.
    When hard, melt chocolate and cover.
