Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
5 to 6 apples
cinnamon pastry for 2 (9-inch) pie crusts
butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. milk
sugar
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour and salt.
Mix with apples.
Put into pastry-lined shell.
Dot with butter.
Cover with top crust.
Fold edge of top crust under and press together.
Flute edge; brush crust with milk.
Sprinkle sugar over top.
Bake at 425\u00b0 until apples are tender when pricked with a fork.
