Brown Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cake flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
3 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Stir dry ingredients together.
Beat shortening and sugar in a bowl.
Beat in eggs until mixture is light and fluffy.
Stir in chocolate.
Combine milk and vanilla. Add alternately with dry ingredients, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Beat until smooth.
