Easy Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sliced cucumbers (don't peel)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. whole celery seed
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix everything but cukes and bring to a boil for about 1 minute.
    Put cukes in clean tight jars and cover with syrup.
    (I double this recipe.)
    Chill overnight before using.
    Store in cool place and will keep all winter.
    Syrup can be reused; just bring to a boil and add new cukes.
